Had some great options from the factory. Original AC car and Tilt Column. Very nice options. Tilt column is still there. This car is rock solid. All frame rails, floors, quarters, trunk floors etc are really solid. The car doesn't need any rust repair that I can see. Perfect car to make into a shelby clone. The previous owner began restoration and then just ran out of money and couldn't finish it. The car is very complete and comes with new parts and a lot of original parts like the original AC and heater box, and much more. See the Pictures. Engine and Drivetrain: The current engine in the car is a 302 with an automatic transmission. However, I do have a 1968 3 speed Mustang Transmission that will come with the car. The Rearend is the factory 8" rearend. All of the glass in the car is in excellent condition. Doors have all window mechanisms etc. The body of the car is very nice. NO RUST. You will not have to repair any rust on this car. The car has been painted and the basecoat was done nicely but the clear coat has runs in it. The paint has a couple chips in it here and there and the edges of the doors are chipped. So in my opinion the paint needs work. The car has some shelby parts on it including decklid, quarter trim, taillight panel etc. It has a 68.5 R Code style hood on it with the scoop. The body of the car is very nice and solid. Frame rails front and rear are very nice. Rockers are solid. Floorpans are perfect, firewall is solid, fender aprons etc. Trunk floors are solid. Has new Wheelhouses. The car had a fuel cell in it so there is an aluminum plate where the gas tank was. That plate just comes right out and an original tank will set right in place. The car also has subframe connectors that are very a very nice addition. Needs both front torque boxes installed. Easy job. This will make a great Shelby Clone or just a really nice fastback. All the wiring is there. I encourage anyone that is interested in this car to come and inspect it or check it out. I have no problem with showing the car.
