For Sale is my 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport CRD with 117,139 Miles, It is equipped with a 2.8L VM Motori Common Rail Diesel Engine capable of 30+ Highway MPG. This engine was only offered in the US/Canadian Liberty in 2005-2006. I am the 3rd Owner of this vehicle it was purchased new by my grandparents I purchased it from them in July of 2012. The vehicle has never been wrecked and has a clean Carfax. The exterior has been kept clean and waxed regularly. It has no damage other than normal wear which is highlighted in the pictures. It has some light suffs on the roof, stone chips on front and hood, a door ding on the passenger side, and a chip in the windshield. It was also undercoated/rustproofed when purchased new. Includes mostly complete maintenance records with oil changes at 5,000 mile intervals with Mobil 1 0w40 and driveline services per manufacturer recommendation. The engine starts easily and runs great, Selec Trac 4WD functions perfectly and features 2WD, 4 FullTime, 4 PartTime and 4 Low. Transmission is good and shifts smooth. Has installed Green Diesel Engineering Limited Torque Eco Tune which increases fuel economy 3-5mpg, horsepower to 185 and torque to 270 ft lb when the torque converter is in full lockup or up to 335 ft lb at all other times. This tune also allows the EGR to be disabled without a check engine light. I will include the flash tool and additional tunes I.E. hot tune or full torque eco tune can be purchased from GDE for $100 each. The initial tune was $500 and $195 for the flash tool which can also be used to read and clear DTCs. Full Timing belt service was performed by me in Oct 2015 at 96,500 miles. I replaced timing belt, serpentine belt, fan clutch, water pump, themostat, idler pulleys and radiator hoses. In addition to the timing belt I replaced the glow plugs with eTechno 7volt steel tipped glow plugs, installed Samco Sport silicone intercooler hoses, and weeks101 intake elbow stage 1 & 2 EGR delete from Sasquatch Motorsports. Total for parts was over $1900 and I performed all labor. Tires are General Grabber AT2 installed at 88,255 miles and still have 50% tread. Have been rotated every 5k miles. OE wheels are Plastidipped metallic gray and are in good shape underneath. TPMS sensors are not installed, so there is a tire light on. They are not required in vehicles prior to 2007 so they have no affect on state inspection. Has Bilstein Nitrogen charged struts and shocks with lifetime warranty. Also has Airlift 1000 air bags installed in rear springs to reduce squat when towing. Pressure can be adjusted with a tire valve near the license plate. Has good brakes all around fronts are EBC Sport dimple drilled and slotted rotors with EBC Yellow Stuff brake pads with less than 2000 miles on them. Rears are NAPA premium Pads and Rotors with less than 10k miles. The emergency brakes are not connected and would need new backing plates installed to be functional. Also has had both front wheel bearings replaced, all 4 calipers, and rear window regulators replaced. The interior of this Jeep is in good condition and has always been kept clean, never smoked in. Has Pioneer bluetooth cd radio. Weathertech front mats. The A/C blows cold and has never leaked. Overall this Liberty would make a great vehicle for anyone and has many years of service left in it. All of the preventative maintenance has already been done so now it just needs driven.
