Vehicle Detail

1971 Plymouth GTX 440 4 bbl, 727 Auto Numbers matching engine 2 Fender tag car I am selling my ’71 GTX, It’s a nice, original car. Car is not running, but does include the original engine and a non-numbers matching 727 auto trans (core). Car has been repainted its original color at some point in time, I have rebuilt the front suspension and updated it. New parts include: Powder coated K member, new: tubular lower control arms, torsion bars, torsion bar boots, upper control arms, sway bar bushings, front disc brake conversion front shocks and a new steering box. I have all the original drum brake equipment (I do not have the original torsion bars though). I have decoded the fender tags below. Take a look and you can see what all the car was born with. All the body numbers match the Vin numbers, If you want to buy it now contact me and lets get it put together. I have listed this car with much hesitation, so please don't waste my time and I wont waste yours. I have both fender tags, no build sheet Below is the de-coded breakdown of how the fender tag reads: RS23: Plymouth Belvedere, Satellite Special, GTX 2 Door Hardtop U1G: 440 370HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL 1971 St. Louis, MO, USA 203495: Sequence number E86: 440 cid 4 barrel V8 (High Performance) 375hp D32: Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission GY9: Dark Gold Poly Exterior Color P6X9: Trim - Premium, Vinyl Bucket Seats, Black TX9: Black Int. Trunk floor is very nice. I have a spare rust free trunk lid, as you can see the original one has a rust hole in it. Overall this is a great car that needs put together and needs a new home. Some rust here and there, but very solid and a great canvas to start a worthwhile restoration. Only selling because I would like a 4 speed car Clear Kansas title in my name. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
