1967 CAMARO RS CONVERTIBLE BARNFIND. ONE OWNER 45000 MILE ORIGINAL. NUMBERS MATCHING 327 POWERGLIDE. POWER TOP, POWER STEERING, FOLD DOWN REAR SEAT, RALLY SPORT, CONSOLE, FRONT AND REAR BUMPER GAURDS, DELUXE SEAT BELTS This 1967 Camaro RS convertible is an amazing barn find. One owner, last driven in 1979. This car retains some of its original paint on the door jambs, trunk lid, rear body panel, cowl panel, hood, and rockers. All numbers matching engine, this car has not been messed with or altered in any way. Here is the story, a man bought this car brand new and it was his baby. Sometime in the mid 1970`s it needed some body work due to some rust on the lower quarter panels and a little bit where the front fender bolts to the fender extension ( very common in the northeast). He had the body work done and the sides of the car painted. A few years later the rust came back because all the body shop did was use filler and the owner dented the front driver side fender. He stopped driving the car with the hopes of fixing everything the correct way, it was parked in his garage and never moved again. The owner would not part with the car, he passed away a couple months ago.This comes with its original keys (in the pictures you will see the trunk cylinder is removed, I did that to open the trunk because at the time the keys were not here, I now have them and put the cylinder back in place, I opened the trunk by un bolting the latch, so nothing was forced or drilled out). I have the transferable registration card and a notarized New York State department of motor vehicles form from the executor of his will.
