1968 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 2V Automatic. Up for auction is a nice 1968 Mustang Fastback (C-code) rolling project car. The car originally came with a 289 2V engine and C4 automatic transmission along with an 8" 2.79:1 rear axle. The car has been in storage for several years and will need a complete restoration. The original 289 engine and transmission are both gone and not included in this sale. The rear quarters have been replaced but other body panels will need repair. Both doors, fenders, hood and deck lid have rust. The floor pans have been cut out and new one are just sitting in place. The torque boxes, rear frame rails and LH front frame rail also need repair. The car has a black standard interior with bucket seats and a partial fold down rear seat. The bucket seats have some tears, also the dash pad, cluster and carpet are gone. The rear trim panels are also missing. The glass is all the original and in good condition. This is a good complete 1968 Mustang Fastback that needs a complete restoration. The VIN plate, door tag and buck tag are still attached to this car. I have a clean title for the car.
