I am trying to sell my 1980 z-28 it was a project car that I can no longer afford the car is in very good shape and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. It would make a very good daily driver or good project for someone that had more time and money then me and could finish it. Nada shows the car worth anywhere from 5000 - 18000. This car wont take a lot to finish up.I was told that the car was driven from Denver to Eastern Colorado while being perused by the police and after it was stopped it sat in a tow yard for several years (unknown if this is true but it is a good story). I got the car from the person that had purchased it from the tow yard and he had it parked for several years in his garage torn apart. When I purchased the car I put it back to together and drove it some not a lot. The motor was the original and rebuilt by the person that I got the car from he at the time owned or owned part of a parts store and machine shop where he also went thru the transmission and rear end. I put a new clutch and pressure plate in it when I put it back to together. I was also able to charge and use the AC. The cars interior is in very good shape for the age of the car, the front seat need to be redone but the door panels and side panels are in very good shape the carpet is in good shape for the cars age. dash does have a couple of cracks but is in better shape then most of this age.
