PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! ****PLEASE READ THE WHOLE AD*********** Please look at all 24 photos posted on this ad and read the full description.DO NOT BID,IF YOU CAN NOT PAY FOR THE ITEM,PLEASE!! ******LOW RESERVE *** 5 DAY AUCTION****** This is for a fairly solid and complete Barn Find 51 Ford Custom Shoebox 2 door sedan,that has been sitting for many years.This car is mostly all intact and complete.The original Flathead V-8 is still under the hood.The motor turns by hand and seems to have good compression.The carb linkage still moves freely.I put a battery in it, but the starter just spins,it will not engage.I have turned the motor several complete revolutions by hand and it seems very smooth with no noises,even when I rock it back and forth.It still has antifreeze in it and is full of oil.I believe it will probably run.The trans shifts thru all the gears and the clutch works.The brakes do NOT work but the car rolls and steers easily for loading and all 4 tires hold air.The steering is actually pretty tight for a old car like this.The car has some victoria parts on it,including some body moldings,the dash and steering wheel.Somebody was redoing the car at one time.The black tuck and roll interior is in very good shape,with no tears and is all still very soft and VERY usable.They did not even cut out the holes for the front handles.The floors are decent for the age.There have been some patching done over the years.The frame is good and the trunk floor is very solid.The doors are solid but need adjusting and some hinge pins replaced.See Photos.The body is straight with some rust in the rockers and lower front fenders.The rear quarters are pretty good.The car is straight down the sides.The trunk lid is good but the hinges need repair also.See photos.The roof is straight and the rain gutters are good.The hood is good but has a little rust on the inside front brace and skin in the same area.Glass is all here but some is cracked.See all photos!! PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS!!!!!! ************************************************** On Feb-16-17 at 16:38:45 PST, seller added the following information: *************************************************************************** I have had a couple of questions about the glass,here is a description of all of it. the glass is better than I thought.The rear window is good,both windows on the drivers side are good,the vent wings on the drivers side have some fogging around the edges,but not real bad.The passenger side rear window is good,the passenger side door glass is cracked in several spots.Both vent wings on the passenger side are cracked.Both front windshields look good with only a very light wiper scratch on the passenger side one.The back windows seem to roll down ok,the front doors regulator are covered with the door panels so I cant check them,but everything appears to be there.
