Vehicle Detail
I was going to try to restore and realized I am in way over my head and my priorities have changed. I drove the car home two years ago, and the engine ran fine then. Car is mostly disassembled. Body and frame are separated, front suspension is separate from frame, hood, fenders, luggage rack, and gas tank are separate. The frame and engine are together with the rear wheels. This includes some new parts I bought but never put on including new front disk brakes to replace the stock drum brakes, a new luggage tray as the original was rusted through, the bushings for the front suspension, all new fuel lines, hardware for the sunroof, and some new lower body sheet metal. The body is sitting on two furniture dollys. Selling this local is preferred but whether local or not, buyer must arrange pick-up and delivery of the vehicle and parts. We’ll work with your shipping company, including Uship. I’ve included a few pictures but it you want to see some other parts or have ANY questions, please send me a message. On Jan-26-17 at 11:51:23 PST, seller added the following information: This is the answer to a question I received. The rockers need to be replaced. I have the new parts for both sides. The heater channels are mostly still covered in paint except for a few spots of visible rust, but I haven’t really dug into them. I assumed that when I got in there to replace the rockers I would probably have to get new heater channels but don’t know for sure. I do not have those replacement parts. I also have replacements for the “Footboard, door sill, lower section, inner” and the “Roof pillar repair panel” for both sides, and I’m trying to post a picture of the new parts. Unless you’re some kind of sheet metal fabricating genius, the fenders will need to be replaced. I do not have those replacement parts. Behind the rear seat there is a big hole that goes through into the engine compartment. I have the replacement luggage tray part and there’s enough of the metal left to attach it. The inside of the wheel wells are pretty bad and should probably be replaced. The rest of the body isn’t too bad. A few spots with rust showing but they aren’t too big. Also some dents and dings. The floor pans and frame head have been replaced. The welding on them should be checked/reinforced.
