Here is a 1983 Suzuki GS1100E at NO RESERVE!! These bikes were and are still used for 1/8 or 1/4 miles drags. A lot of these bikes were trashed and crashed because of their use. Here is a VERY original bike with a couple of nice upgrades. Steel brake lines for the front brakes were added. Period correct fork brace as well. Handlebars and grips were changed. Bike was purchased from the original owner's nephew. From the front...Front tire will pass inspection. Front brakes are nice and firm. Forks have the anti-dive that was a big techno feature from the day. Fork tubes are great and seals seem fine. The HUGE classic Suzuki headlight is in excellent shape. Turn signals have no dry rot. Handlebars are straight and all controls are there. The front brake master cylinder could use some paint. Both levers are original and show no damage. Speedo has some damage from a garage incident. The original mirrors were in my truck when I took pics. I will add a pic of them. The tank is EXCELLANT inside as well as outside. Seat cover has a split in it but cover is readably available. Both side covers have busted tabs and will need to be repaired, The STOCK pipes are EXCELLANT with no dings, rust, etc, the baffles are solid. NEVER see these bikes with stock exhaust. The engine looks very good for the year. No oil leaks or damage. The side engine covers have some oxidation which is to be expected for a 30 something year old bike. Many videos on Youtube to show how to recondition. The bike fires right up and has no ticks, taps, or smoke. Hauls down the road with authority, No problem keeping up with the traffic.... One cylinder is misfiring once and awhile at idle. Thinking new plugs and running it for abit will clear up the minor issue. Chain and sprockets are serviceable. The rear tire will pass inspection. Rear brake is firm. Shocks are in nice shape and have plenty of damping. Please study the pics. All indicators say the bike has NEVER been down!!! I realize I am missing the left side pic with side cover, I will add it. This bike is "as found" with the exception of a ride to the car wash on the back of my truck. After washing the bike my tie downs were frozen and had to wait hours till the ice melted off them. I have no heated space to detail the bike so you see it as brought home from the car wash. Maybe the winning bidder will be in a climate to be able to properly clean the bike. If you have less than 5 feedback please contact me before bidding. Did a VIN verification on the bike after receiving a text that the bike was a 1982 model. According to the VIN it is a 1982 model.
