Private Party; One owner, non-smoking. Most people with a 2004 car probably give it *just enough* care to keep it going. They probably just put up with any squeaks and rattles and other issues that don't stop them from getting from A to B. Not me. Any time this car has had the slightest issue, I immediately got it checked out, and paid to have it addressed. For the price, you will not find a cleaner, more comfortable, more reliable set of wheels to get you around. It's the perfect 4-year college car. A Dave Ramsey get-out-of-debt car. A save-for-your-next-mansion-and-not-your-next-Range-Rover kind of car. My wife bought this new, and I have been using it to commute. I planned to keep “forever” and maintained accordingly, but our family is growing and we got an SUV. For peace of mind, here are the major long-term maintenance/repair items I have already taken care of: 90k: compliance bushings, serpentine belt, brake fluid exchange, power steering pump, suction hoses 100k: accelerator sensor, intermediate shaft-and-axle seal, hub bearing 106k: spark plugs 124k: right/rear wheel bearing, all engine and transmission mounts (a few were aging) 128k: starter and battery 135k: cabin/engine filters 163k: Manifold gasket, new front brakes (pads/machine rotors) in prep for selling Plus I'm doing regular oil synthetic oil changes around 7-8k miles each, plus brake pads, etc. As-is, but I'm confident there should be no issues (mechanical, electrical, interior, or otherwise) that need attention.
