2001 BMW 740iL.. Mechanic Special.. For parts or restoration. From my undersanding Belt might be broken the car starts but needs starter fluid, might be a fuel pump issue. I changed the intake manifold gaskets and also Crank case vent valve in the past 3 weeks. While vehicle was parked on the street some one backed into the front and back of the vehicle pictures shows damaged areas. Dashboard will show, "TRANS. FAILSAFE PROG." I believe once fuel pump is replaced and drive belt vehicle will be fine. So, i am selling my awesome 740il for parts, salvage or restoration. Car has other attention needed. front and rear bumper damage as seen in pics. Original seats with some wear and tear, battery and tires good.. all glass good no cracks. Passenger rear window switch moody, comes up and down when it wants to, minor dents and scratches. Heat and A/C works!!! The car is a great parts or project car.. priced to sell.. must be towed. Not running.
