Link to pictures: http://s1228.photobucket.com/user/mtdubvee/library/1968%20S%20Code%20Red%20GT%20Survivor Link to DRIVING VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSegVVJRxak This car has survived. A complete 390 GT mustang fastback highly optioned that runs and drives. All of the parts are there. All of the interior lights even work still. You are looking at a 1968 Mustang S code 390 GT C6 automatic car that was highly optioned from the factory. Original red on red with deluxe interior and exterior GT features. This car is one of a kind and was top of the line when it was built new in Dearborn. It had to one of the most beautiful mustangs on the road when it was new. This S code 390 GT was the top of the line. It will make a very nice car once restored and brought back to life. These S codes are sky rocketing in value, and this one being as highly optioned with a very desirable color combination will be one of the most valuable ones out there when completed. The car is very complete and runs and drives. Has basically every part on it like it did Drivetrain: The car has a FE engine in it. It might be a 428 because the car has 428 badges on it. If it is a 428 it was installed sometime in its life. The car has C8AE-H 14 bolt GT heads and the original air cleaner. The intake is from a 69 FE and the Carb is from a 69 GT350 Shelby. The engine starts right up and doesn’t smoke or make any odd noises. Has the GT exhaust manifolds on it. It might be the original 390 GT engine longblock. I know the intake isn’t original to this car. Body: The car has never been in any accidents. The frame rails and aprons are straight and true. The rust is the same typical areas in all of these cars. Floor pans, quarters because of dents, outer wheel houses, trunk floor in front of gas tank, front and rear frame rails, probably the lower cowl and torque boxes. It’s hard to find one these days that does have issues in those areas. I'm sure there is some in other areas but those are the major areas or this particular car. Good thing about that is that’s metal that’s easy to replace and it’s sold everywhere. Rocker panels are door jamb areas are very solid. Glass: Comes with all of the glass as seen in the pictures. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to buy a very rare S Code 390 GT red on red car. This car has survived. Its an original Big Block GT car that is highly optioned. These cars are getting harder to get and are skyrocketing in value. The car is a project and does still need sheet metal and bodywork. I encourage anyone that is interested in this car to come and inspect it or check it out. I have no problem with showing the car. My description above was as detailed as I could be however, the car is over 40 years old and there might have been a few things that I have overlooked or forgot. The car is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for transport or shipping of this vehicle. International buyers are more than welcome. I will happily help with transport. I can also help get shipping quotes.Deposit is non refundable and must be sent using bank wire within 24 hrs of auction end. Thanks and Feel Free to Make offers.
