1970 chevelle, may be a real ss, Canadian built. When I bought it, It had 396, 4 speed pedal, 12 bolt rear, boxed trailing arms, thick front and back sway bars and ss dash. Have owned this car since 1987. In 1991 turned into track car, ladder bar,10 point (chassis engineering), fiberglass nose, doors, deck lid. Currently car has a 454 block # 14015445 (1978 BLOCK) .060 over (468), 13:1 compression, Race fuel. steel rect. port/polis heads 990 casting, h beam rods 680 solid flat tap. lift, roller rockers/stud girdle. Holly strip dominator manifold, MSD dist. 6al, 2 step. Holley 1050 carb. (#9375). Barry grant 280 pump and filter. I bought this motor assembled, from friend, brand new build, To fast for him, Never taken apart because it ran so good, Ran at track about 30 passes, then track closed, Th400 freddy brown trans. with ultra bell bellhousing, trans. brake, rev. valve body, 8" conv. 5000 stall. Shifts great. Dana 60, strange spool and axels (35 spline), Richmond 488 gears, I think car could use less gear. Car goes down track great, Have ran this car a lot, with my SBC first, Then got BBC and local track closed. Had street legal last few years, lights work. No wipers. Car has new 14.5x32 slicks, Back rims 15x14. Belts good. New 1/2 quarter panels, never did perfect body filler, just made water proof as shown in pic. With SBC ran 11.18, with SBC and 150 shot ran 10.60, With BBC ran 10.29. Last year at English town ran 10.5 Call 631-943-1709 for any info. Thanks. Belts bought same time with sept 14 punched in tag. But are RCI platinum belts with renewal certificate, The last year at English town was really 2 years ago in 2014 as in picture. As for slicks have had no street on them since that day at English town. Sorry about that, seemed like last at track. uly
