V8 350 with original two speed automatic transmission. This is a well-cared for and loved car which lived in the same family for two generations since 1977. This Chevelle was restored by the father about 15 years ago and driven and shown by him until he passed away. Restoration included a professional repaint in the original factory Maroon color and a new black vinyl top. We believe there was some exterior body rust repair done at the time of the restoration on the two lower corners of the front fenders and both lower rear quarter panels. The floors and rockers are in excellent condition with no visible rust damage. Current paint finish is excellent, smooth and glossy with no significant dents, dings or scratches. Vinyl top shows no age and rear window is sealed properly with no leaks. Glass is all original with no cracking or hazing. Chrome and stainless trim are in fantastic condition with no cracking or pitting. This Chevelle has a set of 14” rally wheels with factory center caps and beauty rings. The interior on this Chevelle is in beautiful condition and is all original except for the carpeting. Vinyl seating is in excellent condition showing next to no wear, door panels and dash have no cracking or delamination. Headliner is in excellent condition. The 350 engine had been refreshed at the time of restoration. The car currently runs and drives well with no smoking or engine noise. The two -speed power glide transmission shifts properly with no apparent issues. The A/C compressor does come on but we believe the system needs to be charged so we are selling the car without the factory A/C functioning. We are selling this Chevelle with a clean Pa title and original owner’s manuals. This great Chevelle can be seen and test driven from our Lancaster, Pennsylvania showroom.
