For sale is a rare 1979 Lancia Beta Zagato Limited Edition. Engine runs fine but gas tank needs cleaning which is usually the case with many Lancias from sitting in storage for many years. It is not a showroom Zagato but could be made into one with some TLC. Mechanically, the car is good but needs a shift linkage. It has a lot of good parts like suspension work that was done recently like shocks, brakes, and exhaust system. The paint is bubbling up a little around windshield and there is a small hole near license plate holder (as pictured). Overall, the car is solid and running and could be made into a winner. There are many Zagatos on the road today, but a1979 is much more rare to find. It seems the prior owner had a paint job done but did not put back the gold decals all around. This is how I got it. I have too many other Lancias to worry about but not enough time for this one. This is why I am selling it. I think the price is low to accommodate the remaining work that it needs. Car sold as is. Even though this collectible car is rare, parts are still available and I have no problem getting anything for it. I have been working with Lancias for over 30 years now and have been buying, fixing and restoring them. This particular Zagato will be worth a lot of money some day just because there were so few made and the "Limited Edition " was made only for the USA market as the 1979 being the first year true year.
