Recently out of 25 year storage. Older, amateur restoration Since it has been out of storage: Replaced unusable tires with good used tiresReplaced all tune up parts (spark plugs, points, condenser, upper and lower distributor plates and coil wire)Installed new 6V Optima battery and battery hold down.Removed and cleaned carburetor and sealed the floatChanged oil and replaced spin-on oil filterMade electrical repairs to get all lights and horn working (horn has very good, loud Ahooga sound)Replaced all fuel lines, fuel shutoff valve and brand new fuel gage. We hooked up a temporary gas tank and the engine starts up and runs fine- no strange noises. Unfortunately the gas tank has some small leaks in it which makes it unusable at this time. After topping off all the fluid levels, we shifted the transmission through all of the gears. Everything was quiet and working properly- no leaks at this time. Interior upholstery is fair- see photosRumble seat upholstery is goodBody paint is good and usable-not perfectThe door glass is not safety glass and should be replacedCar has trunk rack- in good conditionBeautiful set of wind wings- see photosStone guard in front of radiatorAccessory honeycomb radiator with no leaksThird light mounted on front bumper that turns with the steering. The light bulb has not been hooked up, but has been tested with a 6V and it worksThe brakes are not good and need repairingHas California title and is on a non-op Overall, the car shows well.
