Vehicle Detail
Congratulations! You're looking into buying a Porsche! welcome to the top! Ok now that the excitement is out of the way, let's get real for a second. Up for sale is my 1984 944, I humbly refer to them as "the Every-man's Porsche". So if you're thinking this is on par with a 911 GT3 and you're going to be blowing peoples doors off from every red light...you're gonna want to keep searching. What we have here instead, is a mechanically sound project vehicle that would make a great track day toy or daily driver. I say "project" because the interior needs completely redone. That being said, this car is drive-able and ready to be brought to it's new home. Engine, transaxle, brakes, steering, and all necessary lights to be street legal are functioning properly. The body is fairly straight with standard dings and dents. No over heating, does have factory A/C but currently no dash controls to run it. Tires are good with about 80% tread. Will need "Historic Vehicle" registration. I have put a solid ton worth of blood, sweat, and beers into this ride and if I were to keep it i would probably gut the interior and do an LS3 swap and make a monster out of it. Just an idea. This is not a pristine piece of Porsche. Please understand that it still needs work. The price reflects this, as examples in good condition are appraising at 10k or above. Please note, an odometer discrepancy exists, but based on inspection of common wear points, I believe the vehicle to have near the last recorded mileage of 99,435 miles. If you know anything about these vehicles then you will appreciate the work that has been done to this one, including:*Rebuilt Head!Head gasket*Timing beltBalance Shaft belts*Oil Cooler SealsFuel InjectorsFuel Pump*Torque Tube Rubber Damper Conversion (I'll explain if you come to look, you'll be glad I did it)Spark PlugsO2 Sensor*New Catalytic ConverterBatteryClean and Clear, Notarized Title ready to go!Any Questions? Feel free to message me. Thanks for looking!
