Both of these cars were imported from the USA so they have "dual citizenship" so to speak. The red 1987 Biturbo was the Car and Driver test car driven by Don Sherman. I have the document to prove this. I have had both engines running. The red 1987 car has rust in the hood, left front fender, base of the windshield, driver's door bottom, trunk floor, and at the third stop light panel. Fortunately, the black 1986 Biturbo donor car has good metal with virtually no rust anywhere on the car. The windshield and convertible top need to be replaced on the red car. Again, the black car has a good windshield and a restorable convertible top (foggy rear window). The interior of the red car is also very restorable. Neither car has been hit to my knowledge. The black car suffered smoke damage while located in a storage building that had a fire. None of this smoke damage affects the donor parts for the red car. Both cars are being sold as a package. I will not sell one car separately from the other. Nor will I sell parts from either car. The black 1986 car has 15" three piece BBS wheels that are very desirable (I won't sell these wheels separately). I'm confident in stating that the black donor car can provide most of the parts necessary to make a really nice 1987 car that has the Car and Driver history. Both cars have a clean title. I have a functioning oval clock for the 1987 car. The red car has the desirable Moto Lita steering wheel Biturbos are becoming very collectible as the entry level Maserati and are starting to climb the price curve.
