1971 Chevrolet Corvette 454 with 4 speed manual transmission, project car. Pictures tell most of the facts. Needs total restoration. Did purchase the car in August 2014 with intension to restore to perfect condition but have never had time or energy to do so. Engine runs very strong and looks like recent rebuild before I did purchase the car. Did remove the valve covers before I did start the engine and it is very clean. I do not know if it is only the top end that is rebuilt or the complete engine. Did find a cam card in the car Competition Cams 11-207-3 and the engine sounds like it has a little bigger cam than stock. The car is drivable, runs good, shifts good and brakes OK. It do have T-Tops and Pop Out Rear Window. What I have done to the Corvette to make it easier to move around is: -New Hooker Headers #2123 -New Tires -New Carburetor -Rebuilt Brake Calipers Front & Rear -New Brake Pads Front & Rear -New Brake Hoses 4pcs This is a No A/C, No Power Steering car Paint Code: 979 Bridgehamton Blue Trim Code: 420 Saddle Leather Engine Code from the block: CPH, 454 with 365hp /Manual Other numbers I did find on the block is : T040CPH C11S115C11 The white sticker in engine compartment the code is AV I do not know if this is a matching number car or not but for sure it is a original Big Block car with a manual transmission.
