Vehicle Detail
Hello Viewers, Welcome to my Oklahoma City Post: 1967 Cadillac Eldorado, Price, $8000 OBOI Present to Viewers, This Classic Vehicle of mine, and my pride and joy, 1967 Cadillac Eldorado.I have had a long time Love affair with Cadillac's, but, life has shifted for me, as it often does, in its ebb and flow, and as much as I hate to let this vehicle go, it would benefit another fellow collector, to continue to enhance this Beautiful Rare Classic Eldorado, to it's optimal original status.I am the third local Owner of this one of a kind Model by Cadillac, originally owned by local Oklahoma Restaurant owners, The Hollies, bearing their namesake, "The Hollies Restaurant" "Home of The Bacon Burger" (Downtown Oklahoma City, for those Native Oklahomans that may remember)From the second owner to me, since 2009 -- present, this vehicle has been garaged kept for nearly 30 years, not seeing a drop of rain during such time, driven sparingly, and local, when I purchased having 124,843, to present at 125,680, less than 130,000 miles to date. This Cadillac has remained all stock, since purchased new, with no modifications, always careful to ensure replacement parts were 1967/aftermarket, comparable parts to the Model Manufacturer parts. Since my ownership, vehicle has been covered with special order Car Cover for that Model, always covered in garage. This Eldorado, at a glance, is stunning, and catches the attentive eye wherever it travels, with Metallic Jet Black paint on Body, and Black Vinyl top, and original Hounds tooth padding, with Black outer lining seats (very rare vintage seat fabric to find in that model today) The Carpet is in perfect condition not tears, or frayed ends; it's actually covered with carpet like material over the original carpet to protect. Dash is perfect, and headliner perfect, door panels perfect, (one small split on passenger lever handle) but no other tears, or sign of wear. The exterior paint was re-done during the previous owners time, but surprisingly, still about 20 or so years old, yet, nearly pristine, being garaged kept, but bearing a few very minor, blemishes, . . .. If you really, really look close. . . Vinyl top is perfect. All Chrome is in Perfect condition bearing no rust at all. There is absolutely no rust, at all on the entire body of the car, roof- underneath Vinyl top as well. All glass is in perfect condition, with the original rear, split/two piece window. Front has workable hidden headlights (But see Deficiencies)The vehicle has always been regularly maintained thru its collective owner's life. Since my ownership, it has been maintained by Bob Moore Cadillac of Oklahoma City. Things done to Car under my ownership are as follows:Highlights: 2 Sets of keys, 1 Original Set.Car Cover included, 1967 Cadillac Owners Manual, in Original slip Cover, included with sale, various Framed Models of other Cadillac Eldorado's, A couple of Framed Cadillac Pin Symbols (thru the years of Cadillac, from the begining to present) Cadillac Writing Pens, an assortment of Cadillac Plates, bearing the Original Crest, NOT the current Cadillac Symbol. And it will have the Vintage Oklahoma Plate, issued in 1971, but of course, will have to be switched, if transferred out of State.Things done since I purchased vehicle, from 2009 - Present. (Record of Maintenance 2009-present) 4 New Tires, and Balancing, (Complete Tune-up when purchased) New Battery, and cables, New hoses, new belts, New fluids, New Radiator, New thermostat, New Starter, New Spark Plugs and Wires, Flushed Brakes/Replaced Front Brake pads, Resurfaced Rotors Adjusted Rear Brakes, Right outer CV Boot Replaced, New Master Cylinder, Transmission Flush, Oil changes, Lube jobs.Though worn, Trunk still has Original Capet Cover, working light, and original boarding's. Comes with aftermarket Cadillac Trunk Mat, (not for that model, more recent Cadillac Mat)Radio, Remote Antenna still works, up and down. (See Radio-deficiencies) Deficiencies:Will likely need a tune up, (minus the oil, lube and fluids change, as those are recent) ---- specifically, Carburetor adjustment, idle is a little ruff/off, although Pluggs were replaced when I purchased, over the years there may now be one or more not firing.. There may also be a vacuum hose worn, split, or lose, connected to Carburetor. Doesn't have Original Cadillac Floor Mats, No interior Mats, just simulation type carpet, covering all interior Carpet as a protector..Power locks worked when purchased, began to work off and on over the years, currently not working.Radio, comes on, (Remote Antenna works) audio is a bit temperamental, will play at times on certain stations.Vacuum for Hidden Headlamps, always opens from light switch, but doesn't close consistently via switch, Vacuum may need replaced, can close manually, I keep them closed, with a hidden clamps under hood. Power Steering pump will need replacing, steady fluid leak, soooo, manual steering (with a little strength) will be required..There is a slight oil leak, (the origin possibly, pan seals, gasket seals) Oil quantity remains, mostly at required level, needing very little added (never close to a hole quart, if that) when checked. (But mind you, thought maintained, car has been driven sparingly over the years) Turn Signal shortage in wiring, although the Hazzard Flashes work fine, Headlamps, Park Lamps, Break Lamps all in working order. There is a short in the Driver door panel light, so I removed the fuse, and the Driver side under-dash interior lamp has a slight short, but will come on at times, if you tap it enough, but at times will not illuminate. This "67" Model has drains on the rear quarter panels, where in the Trunk, underneath there are hoses that fit, allowing water to drain through down the quarter panels, opened up to the ground, Neither myself, nor the previous owner purchased hoses for these drain openings, hence, the rationale to keep it out of the rain, garaged. As for the A/C, I was told it blows, but not cool, but both the previous owner and myself chose not to use The Air conditioning unit, just to avoid other issues with the vehicle due o the age.Vehicle Front end Vibrates a bit, when higher speeds are reached, Vibration lessoned a bit, initially after all tires were replaced and balanced, but still tends to do so at high speeds, so I only drive in town, and not on Highways, and maintained in town speeds, under 60 MPH. Exhaust/Muffler System can use a replacing.. Muffler has rusted split.Overall, this is a used Vehicle, with expected imperfections, for the year, but, has been maintained well, under it's three owners over the past 48 years. Things listed are, to the best of my knowledge, as accurate, in as much as I am aware of, with no intent of purposefully not disclosing necessary/needed information, regarding the condition of the Vehicle. I do believe this Vehicle can be brought to show room quality, with all deficiencies mention, along with other minor deficiencies unknown, for a reasonable dollar amount. At the end of the day, this is a most modest price, for a really nice, all original, very well maintained, nearly 50 year old "67" Cadillac Eldorado, from the basic Mechanics, Exterior, Interior, this is a very Rare, Exceptional Classic/Vintage 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. I will consider all reasonable offers, as I am motivated to sell...I am available to Communicate, via landline, (CALL ME) too much to say in a text, hence, NO TEXT PLEASE.... Vehicle is driven locally periodically in the Oklahoma City Metro area, however, I wouldn't recommend long distance/Out of State Driving, due to Front-End Vibration and lack of a complete Tune-up, with attention to things mentioned. Thus, Out of State/Long Distance Buyers vehicle should Transported by Trailer/Transport vehicle, though completely drivable, I wouldn't recommend Driving long distances/out of state. All Transporting arrangements must be made by Buyer, within a reasonable/discussed amount of time, post sale of vehicle. PayPal/Payment or, Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfer Only. (See Other Payment Methods)It is my Pleasure, though bitter sweet, to bring to you, this Special Vehicle, which has brought me great pleasure, for nearly 8 years, and which will hopefully bring the same, to the next Owner, for many more years to come. I thank you all for visiting, and I am available to answer any questions, to the best of my ability, to ensure you have all the necessary information needed, to reach a comfortable decision about this Car. Thank you again,J.
