VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a 2003 Volkswagen Golf Diesel. If you are looking for cheap, efficient transportation, look no further. This is a rare find, and it is a very clean car for the miles and year. SPECIFICATIONS: 1.9 liter I-4 turbo rated at 104HP @ 4000 RPM, 184 ft-lb torque @ 1900 RPM, front engine fwd drive. FEATURES: Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, moon roof, Monsson AM/FM/Cass/CD, alloy wheels, heated seats and side airbags. VEHICLE CONDITION: INTERIOR: The interior is very clean. The seats are firm and comfortable. There are some knobs missing from the radio, a small hole in the driver’s seat bolster and the rear head rests are missing. EXTERIOR: The body is straight with no major dent or scratches. The rear bumper is scraped up, there are chips on the front of the car, the bottom of the front bumper is cracked, and there is a piece of trim missing from the front bumper (pics). EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine and drive train all work as they should. The engine starts right up with no unusual noises or vibrations and no smoke. The transmission shifts as it should. TIRES: The front tires have approximately 20% tread remaining, the rears have approximately 50% remaining. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal and the parking brake works as expected. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE: A $250 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cashier’s check or bank check only! Buyer will arrange, pay for, and have the vehicle shipped within 30 days of close of auction. We will be glad to help with transportation. NJ residents will be required to pay 7% NJ sales tax.
