Beautiful Black on Black BMW 1987 635csi. Originally a Texas car. Currently registered and insured in Alberta. I purchased this car on a whim in February 2016 because I've always loved these "sharks" and it fell in my lap. Unfortunately, have too many vehicles (12!) so it needs to go. Overall, the car is in really nice condition. Engine runs strong and transmission works flawlessly. The black leather interior is in excellent condition. There is the slightest bit of wear on the driver's side seat back bolster that just needs some dye (or maybe even just some black shoe polish). There is also the smallest wear hole on the piping. I've shown this in the photos. The dash has three cracks. The vinyl on the driver's side visor has shrunk so that should be replaced. It cannot be repaired. There is some rust but what is there is not a deal breaker. This is NOT a rust bucket. That said, potential buyers should really consider taking care of the rust so it doesn't spread. This wonderful car needs to be preserved for years to come. The rust is present on the rear wheel well lips (but strangely isolated to two specific areas rather than along the entire wheel well lip). There is also minimal rust on the panel beneath the tail lights which is typical for these cars. Finally, there is one hole on the right side rocker panel. Taking into consideration the overall condition of the car with the required rust repair, this car has a reasonable reserve price. I have received a quote for the rust repair AND paint of $1,500 Canadian, to give you a sense of the expected cost. Your cost in your location may be more or less. The quote was based on me removing the tail lights and any interior bits that could have been burned or otherwise damaged from welding in the patches. The right rear Ronal wheel is missing a centre cap. Killer Alpine sound system albeit a little dated (no USB input). This car gets countless thumbs up and "nice car". It is a great driver that is an absolute pleasure to drive. Odometer is in MILES. PLEASE NOTE: the odometer stopped working some time after I purchased the vehicle in February of this year. This is NOT my daily driver so has had approximately (guess) 3,000 kilometres since I purchased it. I cannot guarantee exact mileage. The fuse box cover (inside engine bay) is cracked and needs to be replaced. The diagnostic port in the engine bay looks like it should have a cap. If I'm right, it is missing.
