A very solid and original unmolested '88 Toyota 4Runner.The owner has passed and his family is selling the truck. Mechanically this one is a great driver. It was kept in good condition by the owner with oil changes and scheduled Toyota maintenence. It had been stored indoors for the past 10 years with minimal excursions to a local store and gas station. The mileage accrued when the owner drove from Seattle to Portland on a regular basis for work. It's been checked out by a local Toyota mechanic, and driven about 300 miles since seeing daylight again. It is an excellent truck and handles tight. The 5 Speed transmission shifts nicely and appears as strong as the motor. According to the family, this truck's rear top has never even been off of the truck. The gauges all work properly as do the lights, blinkers and wipers. The roll bar still looks like brand new. Suprisingly good on gas and has not leaked any fluids in our driveway. I would drive this across country with no hesistation. Minor cosmetic issues that would be consistent with a 30 year old vehicle. The passenger's mirror is missing, a door lock was replaced due to vandalism, so there are two keys, The rear window will need to be lubed to work properly. There's a missing spot in the carpet in the rear, but hidden with a floor mat.A few weekend projects to address, but nothing major that I can see. Let me know if I can get you any further photos.
