1966 Ford Country Squire 10 passenger with a 390/335 HP V8 Engine. White exterior and Turquoise interior. Shows 108,000 miles. Needs to be completely restored. Solid car has no rust. Has been sitting since 1974, but it does run. Rebuilt radiator and Gas Tank. New fuel pump, starter and new tires . New wires, plugs and points. Was bought new at Phil long Ford Colorado Springs. In 1974 a Gentleman worked at Peterson Air Force base and needed money for food. Parked it in 1974. The Country Squire was the top trim level available, paralleling the Galaxie 500 and LTD series of passenger cars. In 1966, Ford pioneered the "Magic Door" gate, which allowed the tailgate to function either as a traditional one that could be lowered flat or a door that swung outward for easier access to the interior. Engineers designed the gate through the use of a traditional stationary hinge on the right and a combination of hinges along the door's left side, which carried the weight of the gate as it swung outward when used as a door.
