Here is a real Sweet '74 Westy She is in awesome condition, if you stop and remember, she is a 42 year old bus She is 99.5% rust free. Yes, you read that right. other than normal surface rust there is only 1small rust through hole, right above the rear bumper. Yes.she comes with both bumpers. All floors, dog legs, body panels are rust free. I picked her up out of Little Rock Arkansas a couple moths ago for us to restore and enjoy.. I am really amazed at how great of shape she is in. All the Westy stuff is there (camping) except for the propane tank. Stove, refrigerator, sink, beds, well just everything! She does start right up and run. BUT, there is a problem with the 2 liter engine.She smokes. I had a compression done. The #3 cylinder is down on compression, so it will need new rings, but all the others have great compression,they all have 110lbs of compression, except #3 Like I said she starts right up and does run. She has had the dual carb conversion already done to her, plus a brand new alt installed.So through is some new rings on #3 and your good to go.I did put in a new windshield with new rubber seal.all the other glass is real good. She is completely dry, doesn't leak a drop of water :) I don't know a lot about her other than what I can see, but what I see really looks good to me. The brakes feel real good, so does the tranny, all lights work and she even has decent tires. Although I have not driven her, other that on and off my trailer, I do feel she is in real good shape. I will answer any and all questions that I can. We bought her wanting to get her running good and have some fun with her BUT we are both turn 65 in about a month or so and just found out what are Ins and medical cost are going to be, so we have to give up on that dream and let someone else enjoy her. .I have a ton more pic of her and can take any that you may want. I just want this old girl to go to a good home and get back on the road She is being bought as is, where is, with no warranty. But I can deliver her for a very fair extra charge if you need that. Just don't let this diamond in the rough get away from you. Sure, she needs a few things done to her and some TLC but for this kind of money, she sure is a sweet :) Like I said, ask me anything that you may want to know.
