This is an amazing find! I have the original title, the bike was purchased 05/01/78 and is almost completely original except for lower handlebars from a 1975 GL1000 have been installed, the left side false tank cover has been replaced and an original dealer takeoff seat was located to replace the 2 up seat that had been installed. I have the original cover but it is damaged due to my failed attempt to remove a mural of an eagle. (Should have left it alone) I purchased the bike from the widow of the original owner. The bike spent it's entire life in the same garage and has been covered and untouched since the owner died approximately 5 years ago. The pictures say it all! There is no rust or corrosion! There is minor damage on the frame next to the radiator on each side from the mounting brackets from the Vetter fairing that was installed by the dealer. The bike runs, rides and shifts great but it sat for a long time so maintenance was required. The following is a list of what was done. Note: In the last few days the bike has started to drip a small amount of coolant from the weep hole so it will need a new water pump.
