FOR SALE 1982 HONDA CBX MOTORCYCLE 10,000 original miles. Very rare 6 cylinder, 1047 cc, 24 valve, 125 HP, the most advanced bike available in its day. Close to show condition. Totally original, including seat & exhaust system, no modifications; 100% original paint, no accidents ever, adult owned & ridden. Always heated-garage kept & covered. No winters. Well maintained mechanically: everything works; alternator drive clutch & brushes are original but are rarely noisy. Excellent cosmetic condition with only a few very minor scuffs and scratches. Comes with hard bags, which are excellent with no damage, plus custom CBX-logo soft cover, original owner’s manual and maintenance records. Metzeler ME33 & ME55 tires have about 2,500 miles on them. Regular oil changes, carbs rebuilt, valves adjusted. Stored in a heated basement this winter on a charger, with gas stabilizer in the tank; could probably use Summer maintenance & tune-up, but starts & runs fine. New battery April 2016. I bought this CBX in 1986 from the original owner, a Honda dealership mechanic in Virginia. Bike is currently licensed and located in Potomac, MD. I have only ridden a few times this year.
