For your consideration is a 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. This car is a 29000 mile vehicle per the long term owner of more than 44 years. It is in beautiful condition and other than one re-paint in its original color, called Acapulco Blue, it is as it came from the factory. The paint was meticulously done and shows well and the chrome and trim are bright. The Mustang was stored for decades and was recently awakened. As is customary with cars stored for a long time, work was needed to make it safe and reliable as it is now. The braking system was done over with new brake shoes, Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses and stainless steel brake lines. In addition, all hardware such as clips, springs, etc. were replaced as well. The gas tank was removed and restored with a new sending unit installed. The 302 cubic inch V8 engine was completely serviced with a rebuilt carburetor, new points, condenser, rotor, cap, plugs and plug wires. A new radiator and fan shroud were installed along with factory correct radiator hoses and tower clamps. The Mustang runs and drives as it should and is ready for summer cruising. The body is immaculate. The color, Acapulco blue, is very pleasing and shows well with the white GT Styled side stripe complimented with an excellent, extremely clean and undamaged white convertible top. New Chrome rocker moldings also add to its appearance. The top is manually operated and goes up and down with ease. Adding to the sporty look are the original style Magum 500 wheels with new BF Goodrich TA radial tires. The bright blue interior is original and is very clean. It is original and shows near perfectly consistent with the mileage showing on the car. There are no rips or tears and it looks fantastic. The Mustang has an in dash am/fm/CB receiver. New front seat belts were installed along with a new trunk mat and spare tire cover too. The engine is a 302 V8. It runs well and has been highly detailed with the addition of the chrome GT engine dress up kit. You can eat off it. The undercarriage is also highly detailed and is very clean. New lower control arms, bushings and 4 new shock absorbers were also installed and a high tech laser front end alignment completed the process. The transmission was serviced and is an original Ford C4 and works and shifts as it should. It’s ready to go. This is a super clean, low mileage convertible that is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. The car is for sale locally and could be sold at any time. It is sold as is, where is.
