Vehicle Detail

I bought this truck 5/09 from a slick ebay seller. It was a mess. The odometer read 241,020. The front suspension was completely refitted. Every bushing, ball joint, bearing and tie rod was replaced. The engine and transmission were both in unacceptable condition. Both were replaced. The engine and transmission both came from a chevy panel truck that was totaled when an oak tree fell on it. There were 14K miles on that trucks odometer. To sum this up the body has 247K on it and the engine/transmission 20K. I would drive this truck anywhere. THE GOOD: This truck has been in Florida it's entire life. The paint is in good shape. No peeling or fading. There is no rust in this body. Except for the drivers seat the interior is clean. The drive train is in exceptional condition. There is a hide away ball hitch in the bed for gooseneck trailers. Tires are all 50 % or better, 245LT/75-16. THE BAD: Speedometer is inaccurate. I use a Garmin GPS for correct speed. The gas gauge only works when it wants to. I keep track by miles driven on odometer because the trip meter no longer works. Door locks work fine. The switch to lock and unlock the doors does not work. The right rear fiberglass fender is broken again. Caused by a semi that peeled a tire cap and I ran over it. See the pictures for damage. Tool box in 8' bed only latches on the right side. The tail gate does not open easy. THE UGLY is the AC system. The condenser [inside the dash] has a leak in it. Until that is replaced the AC will not function. The dash must be dismantled to fix this. To sum this all up, this has been a good farm truck. It pulled a 40 foot 25K gross gooseneck that we moved rolls of hay with and never skipped a beat. I could go to the feed store and get 20 bags of feed. I have grown too old for active farming. It is time for someone else to work this truck. If you have any questions please ask before you bid. When this truck is listed on Ebay I DO NOT offer it for sale locally.
