Original Texas Westfalia. I bought it from the original owners Son in 1993, where it was sitting in Fort Worth with a blown engine. He didn't know if odometer had rolled, but camper unit is VGC. I put in a used engine and 10,000 miles ago built a New 1600 Dual port.    New Case, crankshaft, piston & cylinder kit, heads, oil cooler, carburetor, alternator. All New.          Had brakes two years ago, new c/v boots, final drive seals. Also has hard to find original VW 15" VAN wheels. Has mostly highway miles for camping trips.  Audi front seats, and still have the old front seats.      All lights except reverse work. Wipers, speedometer, and fuel gauge work.     Hasn't had a licence for five years, but gets oil changed and enough starting and driving to keep everything good. Stored in a garage, and always been a Texas car.  The pop-up top delaminated and would no longer stay on, so I sealed the pop-top opening. Doesn't leak and could have another pop-top installed.         Only big rust is a spot by right rear tail-light. Small pin hole rt & left in front of rear wheels. Light surface rust on top drip channels and above windows.           Paint is mostly original and very thin. Needs paint and window rubbers, and windows don't leak, as I calked the old gaskets when I first got the Van. Has three small body dents close to wheel wells.       All photos taken yesterday.      Crack in the windshield doesn't interfere with driving/;I've tried to include everything. Motor and transmission are Very strong and good for another 50k miles.
