1980 Plymouth RoadRunner 1 of 498 cars produced in its last year of production. I bought this car as a project that I haven't had time to complete and have moved on to another project. The car is being sold as is. It is the buyers responsibility Included in sale are several parts that I purchased but never got around to putting on the car. Powertrain: Motor is the original 318. Puffs a little smoke when started (needs valve seals), but runs smooth and strong otherwise. No leaks, noises, misses, etc. Exhaust is intact has been upgraded with headers and glasspacks. Reverse is out of the transmission but it pulls forward. It doesn't want to come out of drive but will shift back to park after engine has been shut off. Brakes will need going through because it has been sitting for a bit. Tires are dry rotted but hold air. Exterior: Body is straight. Front fender and bottom of doors have been patched with metal and body filler but are structurally sound. Frame has typical rust (see pic) and will need to be repaired. Front floor pans are rusted through and will need to be repaired (see pic). Trunk is original and free of rust. Body has had first coat of primer. Wheels are original and in good shape. Window glass is in good shape without cracks/leaks. Rear bumper is included but beyond the point of repair. All of the hardware is included to mount back to car. All of the original chrome is included (see pic of trunk), was removed to prime the car. Interior: Interior is all original and in usable condition. Dash pad needs replacing, otherwise, dash is in good shape. All gauges and lights function as intended. Driver and passenger front seat will need to be recovered; rear seat is free of rips/tears/defects. Upholstery is in good shape, no sagging or fading. Carpet is worn in front but in good condition in back. Original floor mats included. Door panels are in good shape. Original 8 track player is still in the car, worked last time it was used but don't have any 8 tracks to test it now. A/C worked when bought, may just need to be recharged.
