I bought this car several years ago with an intent to try and restore it, but decided just to sell the car. This is a 1967 Elan S3 Super Safety (unit number 45-7674). Only 445 Super Safety were made between the S3 and S4 (you can Google "Elan Super Safety" and find more info). This car is a good candidate for restoration. There is no engine or transmission. The body is very solid (see in pics). The chassis and floors have very little rust. No dash top. The wood and gauges are in reasonable shape. The wheels are good, tires of course are junk. The car does steer and it rolls good. No soft top but the frame is there. The seats, door panels and console are old. Steering wheel is good. The car is sold AS IS WHERE IS. Potential buyers should come and inspect it or send someone else to do it for them.
