Normal 0 You are bidding on a SUPER-NICE Show Condition 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe. This Restored Beauty is in SHOW Condition with a super-straight body and gorgeous black paint job that’s a mile deep! The 302 V8 is a JASPER’S performance engine that was installed 2 years ago and still has a WARRANTY! EVERYTHING WORKS! This muscle car is TURNKEY and ready to hit the shows! This Mustang is super solid and rust free from top to bottom! The car was restored by a couple of different owners over the years and by a well-known Mustang restoration shop (Buckeye Classics) in Ohio. This 70’s muscle car is currently triple-black with bucket seats and floor shift. The engine is not the original unit. It is a Jasper’s 2013 rebuilt 302 ci performance engine with new water pump, fuel pump and power steering pump. The trans is a C-4, which appears to be original along with the 2:79 standard rearend. The car was originally Blue-on-Blue 302 2bbl, with power steering. We have the Marti Report, which is included with the pictures. Also have receipts for the parts that have been replaced. This Mustang is very reliable! No overheating issues or any problems! EVERYTHING WORKS! TURNKEY… Fly in drive this one home!! This is a rare classic car with a reserve to protect some of its value. If the reserve is not met we will work with the high bidder to complete the sale. Bid retractions are not accepted. We block bidders who violate this policy and also report the violation to eBay. The Body is super-solid and straight! No dings, dents, paint issues or even chips! The black paint is in excellent condition, very close to a perfect show-quality paint job. The paint is a mile deep with no swirl marks or overspray. The owner did have a restoration shop (Buckeye Classics) replace the lower quarters a few years ago because of some rust bubbles starting to appear. Even as a car builder I could not tell. It was done very professionally! Other than that the car is pretty much rust-free, solid and has clean floors and trunk. The weatherstrippings are in good condition with some pieces replaced. The glass is in great condition with the windshield and back glass having been replaced with new pieces. The chrome, stainless and brite work pieces are in nice-to-great condition with no pitting and just some minor aging on a few parts. Bumpers are really straight and shiny too but need to be rechromed or replaced with new! The Interior is in great shape with brand-new dash pad and headliner. Also newer parts installed are seat covers, door panels and carpet. Some of the original blue pieces have been dyed black (A-pillars etc). The seats and dash are new without any defects, cracks or rips. All the dash gauges, lights, radio and HVAC controls ALL WORK! The steering wheel is also in great condition. All the windows, doors, locks, hood and trunk operate as they should. A new Advance Custom Sound AM/FM stereo was installed too! The Drivetrain is in perfect running condition! The new Jasper’s 302ci engine is bored .040 over with 9.0-to-1 compression (have receipts). Motor has a little over 3,000 miles on it and the warranty is good for 100k miles or 3 years, which ends 12/16. A newer Edelbrock aluminum 4bbl intake was installed along with 4bbl carb. Also new parts installed include… water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump and cylinder with lines, exhaust manifolds, hoses, belts and battery.. Newer parts installed include upgraded ignition with MSD and chrome alternator. The engine runs beautifully! No smoke or noises and doesn’t even leak! No overheating issues either! The 3-speed C-4 automatic transmission operates like it should. No slipping or leaks. She runs great, shifts fine, steers where you want her and has great brakes (4 wheel drum)! The Undercarriage is in super-clean original condition! The floor pans and frame are original and in GREAT condition! Frame, floor pans, trunk drop offs and rockers are all original and in super solid condition. The exhaust system is a stainless dual system. The 15” white-letter tires look good with lots of tread and the chrome rims are like-new! Other info: There is some paperwork, documentation, and receipts for this vehicle. Mainly the engine and the installation shop and some misc part store receipts. Also the Marti report. Comes with clear Ohio title stating MILEAGE EXCEEDED and 2 sets of keys. Factory spare tire is in the trunk. Sold with NO WARRANTY other than the Jasper engine warranty, which can be transferred to the new owner for $30.00.
