This car was originally a southern California car and still has a very clean body. Floors are all original and rust free, front and rear strut/shock towers are original and rust free, including battery tray. Rocker panels are original and straight with only very minor rust on right rear. Jacking points are all original and solid. Trunk floor is very solid. Overall paint is in very nice condition, minor rust spots around stainless molding attachments as shown in the pictures. Bumpers, lenses and glass are all in nice condition. The interior has new front and rear seats in correct vinyl material. New dash cap also looks great. Carpeting, door panels and headliner are all in original condition and in nice shape. Original sunroof is working correctly. All gauges are working and all knobs are correct and original. This BMW has all the good stuff with an upgraded five speed manual transmission, Sachs Hi performance clutch, Stahl 4 into 1 header, Webber 32/36 DGAV carb, ANSA exhaust, Electronic ignition and new Kenwood stereo. Recent service work totaling $7,000.00 was just completed on the car- including 4 new Kumho tires, all new hoses and belt, tune-up, sway bar bushings, State inspection, tie rods and alignment, new fuel pump, clutch hydraulics, and new drive shaft.
