Vehicle Detail
I’ve owned this beautiful car for 20 years. Loaded with options, including power windows and factory A/C! Runs and looks great. The car was originally from South Carolina, so it has always been clean and solid. The previous owner stripped the paint and repainted it the original color, and rebuilt the engine in 1990. The interior is original, except the front dash pad was recovered and the rear deck shelf was replaced. I’ve done very little to this car since I bought it in 1996, other than driving it. I’ve replaced the tires and mufflers, and had the A/C converted to R134A by a friend who is a professional in the field. It's a great car but I'm not driving it much anymore, so it's time to find a new owner. Cowl tag: STYLE 63-1847 BODY AT3509 TRIM 842 PAINT 936 ACC. The previous owner removed the fender skirts and changed the hubcaps, but I have the fender skirts and original hubcaps. All power windows operate, and the A/C is cold. Car runs and rides great. The master cylinder leaks, so I occasionally have to add brake fluid. Floor boards, trunk, and frame are original and 100% solid, as the car is a southern car. I think the trunk mats are original, but the foam on the underside has degraded and is coming off the mats. Paint has some occasional scratches and chips but otherwise shows no signs of age. There are about half a dozen small bubbles in the paint in total around the car, but they are small and unnoticeable, and haven't changed at all in the 20 years that I've owned the car. Chrome is almost all original and has some scratches and signs of age, but is generally in excellent shape. I have the shop manuals and owners manual, but not the Protect-O-Plate. The tires are radials and are a few years old, with probably no more than 1k miles on them. Mufflers are original style, Walker brand. The clock doesn't work, but the AM radio does, and there's an FM converter installed inside the glove box. When I bought the car in 1996, it had 82,561 miles on it, and the previous owner told me that the odometer wasn't altered when the engine was rebuilt. Previous owner lived in Stow OH.
