Mercedes-Benz : SL-Class 560 Series 2dr Coupe 560SL Roadster Up for sale is my all-original 1989 Mercedes 560SL convertible in fair condition. I am the second owner, the original owner is a personal friend. I have owned the car for the past two years. I only take the car out once or twice a month and it's time to sell it to someone that can appreciate a true Mercedes classic. This was the last and most valuable year in the R107 series' 18-year run, it features a monster 5.6L V8 considered to be the best engine Mercedes ever built. Starts right up, runs and drives like a dream. Fast and powerful engine. Original Blue soft-top in excellent cosmetic and working condition (the original owner never used it). Original silver hard top also included. Original blue leather interior in good shape, seats show minor wear, rest of leather/carpet looks good - even the trunk carpet. All four tires were recently replaced and have plenty of tread remaining. The car is 27 years old and does have some exterior body rust. The Air-conditioning and radio are not working. The power steering fluid has a slow leak that may have to be addressed by the new owner. I currently add power steering fluid once every three months. The sale includes all original manuals and a clean/clear Pennsylvania title. The car is located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Local inspections are welcomed and encouraged.
