1965 Mustang 2+2 fastback. This was a one owner car with 40,600 original miles when I got it from El Paso, Texas. It was featured in Mustang Monthly "Rare Finds" article by Jerry Heasley in August 2012. This is a stock 6 cylinder, three speed on the floor all numbers matching Mustang that has never been wrecked, raced or messed with. Have the original owners manual, window invoice from when it was a new car, the first four years of Texas title receipts and a current clear title. Body restoration: After I purchased it the car was stripped, bumpers, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, splash pans removed from the shell, paint stripped from everything. The body shell and all components were then completely primed with three coats of epoxy primer. Both original doors had rust on the bottoms and were replaced with the best ones from DynCorp. While disassembled, the lower cowl pan was also replaced with a new DynCorp lower pan. Original floors are solid and rust free All components were final finished, painted and reassembled at Sweeden Paint and Body Shop San Antonio, Texas. (the original doors have had lower skins welded in place and are also included in the sale) Interior: Complete TMI interior package including carpet, formed bucket seat foam, seat covers, padded dash, door panels, kick panels, headliner, visors and four new seat belts. New steering wheel, as well as light, wiper and dimmer switches. New glove box, heater plenum and defroster hoses installed. All interior and exterior weather stripping replaced with new. Brakes: New dual bowl master cylinder and all four wheel cylinders, new flex hoses in front, system flushed and fresh brake fluid added. Fuel System: New fuel tank with fuel gauge sending unit, new fuel pump and carburetor. Engine: New timing chain and gears, vibration damper sent out for rebuild and timing marks degreed in. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, flywheel resurfaced. New motor mounts. New Radiator, heater core and heater hoses. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADE.
