I HAVE THIS CAR ON THE ROAD RIGHT NOW, I HAVE PUT ABOUT 75 MILES ON IT. THE ENGINE SEEMS TO RUN GOOD BUT I BELIVE THE CARB COULD USE SOME TWEAKING, I DROVE IT TO GET SOME ICE CREAM WITH MY FAMILY 5-31-16 AND IT ACTED LIKE THE CHOKE WAS HALF ON, I CHECKED IT AND IT WASNT, I MAY GET A SET OF PLUGS AND THROW THEM IN TODAY.THERE IS ALSO A CLUNKING AT TIMES THAT I BELIVE IS COMING FROM THE REAR TRAILING ARM BUSHING AREA WHICH I PLAN TO CHECK INTO TODAY (I FOUND A BROKEN SHOCK AND DECIDED TO CHANGE ALL 4. THATS ALL DONE BUT I HAVENT HAD A CHANCE TO DRIVE IT TO SEE IF IT HELPED ANYTHING, THE BUSHINGS LOOKED FINE). THE ALIGNMENT IS SLIGHTLY OFF BECAUSE THE SPINDLES WERE SWAPPED WHEN THE DISC BRAKES WERE ADDED. YOU CAN COME AND CHECK THE CAR OUT BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER. ONCE YOU MAKE AN OFFER YOU ARE NOT WINNING THE CHANCE TO COME LOOK, YOU HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR IF THE OFFER IS ACCEPTED AND YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO PAY FOR IT. SINCE PUTTING THIS CAR ON THE ROAD I HAVE DECIDED TO DOLL IT UP A LITTLE, IVE ADDED BRAND NEW WHEEL WELL TRIM, NEW ROCKER TRIM, NEW SIDE MIRROR, TRUNK SEAL, FENDER AND QUARTER EMBLEMS, IVE REPLACED THE CENTER CAPS WITH DERBY CAPS, IVE ADDED BRAND NEW EXHAUST, NEW SWAY BAR BUSHINGS, NEW RADIATOR SUPPORT MOUNTS. IVE ALSO REPLACED BOTH DOOR LATCHES AND THE REAR WINDOW REGULATORS SO NOW ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN. IVE RE INSTALLED THE REAR SEAT BELTS. THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR BUT A GOOD DRIVER THAT TURNS HEADS AND GETS TONS OF ATTENTION. IM TRYING TO BUY A HOUSE AND WOULD LIKE TO FREE UP SOME CAPITOL. CLEAR NYS TITLE IN MY NAME IN HAND. CAR STARTS RUNS DRIVES. the car had quarter panel skins (to the top body line) installed at one point, body work shows. the body does have some filler in it, lower rear door corner on driver side, there is some bubbling at the factory roof/quarter seen, pretty common but is decent enough to drive as is. floors are very solid, its had pans put in before but it was a good factory style pan, no rust no holes and the trunk is also solid although the lower wheel houses had a few repairs, the frame is in great shape with no rust. Body is not excellent but solid and would make a fine driver. needs new paint and bodywork, could use a big block and 4 speed haha. the interior is in real nice shape. has bucket seat and center console. I have a new headliner and sail panels that need to be installed. nice door panels, no rips, tears in the seats, dash pad is good with no cracks, very presentable. speedometer wasn't working, fuel gauge either, they may not be hooked up (haven't checked yet). I bought a new speedo cable for it. mst lights work, I have a bulb in the front signal out and one brake light, horn works and reverse lights work. the car has power steering and power disc brakes. both of them are in good working condition. also has a 12 bolt posi rear axle. THIS CAR IS BY NO MEANS A PERFECT CAR. IT IS A DRIVER. BUT WITH SOME WORK/TINKERING/RESTORATION IT COULD BE A REAL NICE CAR. buyer is responsible for all shipping. car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
