Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. VEHICLE SOLD AS-IS. - Has some issues, including a check engine light code P0740, which indicates a problem with the transmission lockup solenoid. Starting to show some problems shifting. I'd pay to fix the transmission if I planned on keeping this van, but I no longer want a minivan. - Needs work, or could be parted out. Many good parts. I'd consider parting it out myself if I had time. Wheels and tires alone are worth the starting bid. - Passed PA inspection in 2016. Pickup in Washington Crossing, PA 18977 or buyer makes all arrangements to ship vehicle. Please contact me with any questions, for additional photos, or if you want to come look at it. Clean title in-hand. I'm 2nd owner and parents were first. One accident involving hitting stop sign at 10mph after sliding in snow. Headlight replaced; hood, grill, & bumper repaired by body shop. Recent work and existing problems noted below. THE GOOD:- Engine has 60K miles less than van. Engine with 65K miles installed at 125K miles (2008) after I left radiator cap off (don't ever do that!) and drove until coolant was gone and it overheated on NJ Parkway (while stuck in Memorial Day traffic, ironically, seeing I listing on Memorial Day 8 years later). Either cracked the block or warped the head. Didn't want to try to fix that motor. Replacement engine has run great for 8 years and still runs great. Motor has about 127K miles on it.- Regular oil changes and maintenance. - Alloy wheels NEW in Fall of 2012. Not original style for this year van, but they are genuine Honda alloy wheels of correct size and backspacing. Was having a wheel vibration problem that couldn't be solved. Replaced all four wheels in desperation and then put on new tires and had them road-force-balanced - problem solved.- Tires are all good. Three are Hankook Optimo H727 from Fall 2012, with 6/32 - 7/32 of tread depth. One tire is a BRAND NEW (April 2016) Kumho Solus KR21 with basically no driving on it. All tires are stock size: 215/65R16. - Three of six ignition coil packs replaced in past 3 years. - New engine air filter April 2016. - Front motor mount, left lower ball joint, left outer tie rod replaced Jan 2016. Suspension and front end are solid!- New battery cable Oct 2015. - New Dorman lower control arms with ball joints & bushings & alingment Jan 2015. - New Brembo front rotors, Akebono, ceramic front brakepads, and Honda front brake calipers April 2014- New front struts, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, and rear shocks April 2013. - New catalytic converter Nov 2012.- New Bosch battery Sep 2012.- Have an extra grill insert for the front grill (the black part).- Have both remotes. Both work and have fresh batteries. Have two keys + valet key. THE BAD:- Check Engine Code P0740 which is a transmission problem.- Right sliding door doesn't open - the door-opening/closing motor died. Outside handle hardware broken. - AC installed but not working. Haven't had diagnosed.- Left sliding door works from dash & interior controls, but outside handle is broken off, and door sometimes doesn't fully close without a push. - Windshield cracked at bottom (see photo). Has been this way for 8 years and hasn't gotten worse or ever caused to fail inspection. Doesn't obstruct vision. - Bottom of front bumper broken from hitting curb when parking.- Paint mostly peeled of one piece of window trim, passenger side window only - see picture.- Passenger side mirror slightly darker gray than vehicle - replaced with used one from eBay after it was broken backing out of garage.- Hood latch cable sticks, and has to be wiggled around a bit to get hood to close. Needs new cable.- Dents, dings, scrapes, & scratches - see pictures.
