A true labor of love! I hate to part with this truck. My friend and I worked on this truck on and off for a number of years. Since we both grew up in the 50's it only made sense to make it "Cadillac Red" and fast! We put a small block Chevy in it and a 5 speed Chevy transmission. It has a Chevy Blazer rear end. We put in a varnished oak bed (that's never seen a drop of rain!). We also put in Chevy Camaro bucket seats. It still has the original front end and no power steering - so there is still some nostalgia there...My friend has passed on, so I have the title for the truck - no worries there.It could be a good daily driver. But honestly, I've only driven to car shows. It's a great, fun truck to drive truck! You could garage it and take it out on the weekends or you could drive it to the office everyday and be the envy of all your co-workers....
