Vehicle Detail
Frame off restore. Saved from the backyard weeds of California. Everything was given attention. Bumper to bumper, everything on the Blazer is top quality. There is zero rust on this vehicle. Painted in August of 2014 and the restoration finished up in January 2015. As you will be able to tell by the feature list, there was a lot of money put into this beautiful vehicle and it has some unique features that other blazers for sale on eBay don't. This is a very comfortable and fun to drive Blazer that runs greats. Less than 700 miles on this restore so you are getting a freshly built and well taken care of driving machine. Listed below are most all of the upgrades and features unique to this 1972 Blazer. Hey, did someone say graduation gift?? Some sellers try to deceive by using clever picture angles and only list the good things about the vehicle. I'm not one of those sellers. I have about 100 pictures of this Blazer that show many other angles and other cool features. Message me if you need more pictures and I can email a few at a time due to size. I want you to feel good about the purchase and know that you are getting a great Blazer. Is it a show truck...NO. Is it going to win you best of show at the Concours de Elegance...ABSOLUTELY NOT. Will you be the coolest due on the block and the envy of all your car buddies and cruise friend...YOU BET YOUR ASS YOU WILL. Every truck has issues if it's intended to be a driver. This truck is no exception. Listed below are some of the known issues I feel need to be disclosed to prospective sellers. I wouldn't feel good unless I did. Believe me, these are small issues and the good things about this Blazer far exceed the not so good. Just look at the pictures!!! This thing is sweet!!!Known issues include:Very small oil leak at rear of passenger valve cover. Small leak at transmission filler tube. Washer fluid hoses are not hooked up to the motor. Fuel gauge reads 3/4 full when tank is full (sender issue). Parking Brake cables need to be adjusted. Small convex dent in hood from drill bit going too far in from underneath. Small convex dents in glove box door from too long of hing screws. Visor clips are too small for visors to clip into. (aftermarket design flaw). There is a crack in the passenger side rear window (on removable top). I had a glass shop make two new ones and one cracked while I was putting it in. They charged me $60 each to make them since they are so simple. This Blazer is not a Mercedes Benz so do not expect it to drive like one. It's a 1972 4WD with old school steering and suspension geometry. It's a blast to drive and it runs and shifts great. A true head turner and one of a kind. There is nothing like a topless 4X4. I know I have missed listing some of the features and new parts because there are so many. Please message me with questions. I also invite anyone to come look at the truck in person before bidding. You will not be disappointed. Bid with confidence and please remember the truck is sold as-is with no warranty. I prefer local pickup but if the buyer wants to arrange shipping, I will do whatever I can to help.
