1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe (Project) For sale is a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe in GT trim. This car is a project car with a lot of the basic mechanical restoration done already. New fuel pump, water pump, front disc brakes (calipers and discs), fuel tank, and radiator. Currently in need of a new ignition to get it started. Body work and paint are required, front rails and fenders are rusting including passenger floorboard. Other issues include window regulators (mechanical) need replacing, interior needs a proper cleaning and some trim parts replaced (has a new instrument panel), fuel tank level monitor, and exterior chrome and trim. This car has a non original A-Code engine with a 4 speed transmission. Was originally a GT spec model but previous owner removed fog lamps (toggle switch still intact) and repainted, removing GT stripes. Great car for someone looking to bring it back to its former glory or a blank canvas for someone with a vision to make this Mustang something special.
