1947 chevy 1/2 ton rat rod cab has been chopped. Cab was taken to bare metal and clear coated with copper pearl. Engine is 2005 chevy Tahoe 5.3l lsx backed by a turbo 400 trans. Rear frame is from a 95 cougar, which is 8.8 independent rear suspension with 3.08 gears. front frame is 95 chevy s10 with billstien drop spindles. Truck has cresent wrench for shifter handle and drift brake mounted next to it. steering wheel is removable race wheel. Seats are very comfortable race seats with 4 point harness. Tach has intergrated oil pressure and water temp gauges. No speedometer. Front glass only which is slightly tinted laminate auto glass. Truck was built to drive and that's what we have done. Build is a little over a year old with thousands of miles logged. Truck has won multiple trophies from car shows, burn out contest, and even won an autocross class. Rat rod handles extremely well and drives nice. Exhaust does have removable baffles if you want open headers. Was getting19 mpg with afco race wheels and asphalt tires with the 20's should get better Buyer will have the option of wheels either 2010 20' Camaro ss wheels or afco race wheels with asphalt take offs.
