I will not recognize bidders with no history on any of my auction listings. I bought the automobile from the owners of the Pontiac/GM Dealer in Collyer, KS which is now the Pontiac Bar and Grill. This vehicle has been sitting in this location for over 60 years. The original owner hit an obstruction in a parking lot in Hayes,KS and bent the oil plug. The vehicle started leaking oil and lacked 3 miles from making home to Collyer. The Pontiac Garage replaced the motor and returned vehicle to owner. The vehicle was driven approximately 500 miles and returned to the dealer for service. Service was completed the next day and when the dealer called to notify the owner they were informed that the gentleman had pasted away. The car has sat at the same location until we purchased it on Aug 15th of 2013. When we purchased the car there was water standing in the spark plug holes. It was evident that this wasn't the first time the motor had been wet. We found the motor to be locked up. We bought it in its current condition because we have a 1957 Pontiac V8 motor and 4-speed hydro-matic transmission that would be a perfect fit for this car. Age and time have gotten in my way so now i'm in the process of selling a handful of projects. Reality says- I will not have time to finish. This auction includes the car, the V8 motor and automatic transmission which is complete with carburetor, starter, power steering pump and alternator. Hood ornament is in the office for safe keeping but is included also. If you are the high bidder we will assist with loading the motor and transmission and accessories. If you are the high bidder and get out bid by a 0-feedback bidder at the last minute of this auction you will still be considered the high bidder as the 0- feedback bidder bid will be cancelled.
