Vehicle Detail

I have for sale a 1977 Chevrolet Scottsdale c20 Camper Special. This truck is all original aside from a few parts that I've had to replace but, I still kept all of the original parts so it could remain all original someday. This truck is from Colorado and hasn't seen a New England winter yet. Truth be told I havent driven it since snow flied so no salt has got up into the frame. It has a 350 4-bolt main, and a th400 transmission. It is a real Camper Special so it has the proper suspension package. 8,200 GVW!! Not certain on the rear end gears but it does have the original rear installed. 14 bolt!!!The Good:-I've kept all of the original parts that I've replaced -New Radiator (have orginal, just needs to be brazed near the hose-nipple) -New heavy duty Tuff Stuff water pump -New 19.25 inch Flex-a-lite cooling fan -New thermostat -New Upper and lower radiator hoses -New heater hoses -Brand new belts -Brand new tires -new speedometer cable -I rewired the taillights and reverse lights -New master cylinder -Original Buckskin Yellow paint -New drive-shaft yolk with a new u-joint and a new carrier bearing (took me over a month to find the correct parts) -2 gas tanks that don't leak -frame, rockers, etc are free of rust -body mounts are fine -Have a new heater core that hasn't been installed yet -New sway bar mount -I have the original 16.5 inch rims for the truck, but the truck currently has 16 inch rims on it. I also have 2 spare 16 inch rims with decent tires on them. The 16.5 inch rims have junk tires -Comes with a bed toolbox -True dual exhaust -Has all original trim and badges (aside from grill)The Bad:-Needs a speedometer (The cable has been replaced, but the previous owner tried to fix the speedometer with zip-ties) -cab corners are starting to bubble (new ones are pretty cheap though) -No heat, needs a heater core (I have a new one and I also have started the process of replacing it. Doubtful that i will finish it) -Have been told by my mechanic that cylinder 8 misfires occasionally at idle, especially when the engine isn't at running temperature (does not misfire at higher, driving RPM's only at idle) I am not sure of the source of this issue -Needs a new donut gasket on the passengers side -Could use a little bit of work on the passenger's side of the bed. At some point the previous owner started the trim-line repair, but never finished it -Needs plastic piece in between rear windowsAs you can see I have fixed most of the issues with this truck and would finish the truck but I have run out of time and money. The repairs are pretty cheap and pretty easy to do for the most part. I would like to see this truck go to someone who would finish her up and maybe bring it to car/truck shows, because it would be one hell of a show truck. I know what I have and I know what it is worth so there is very little wiggle room at $2,500. You just simply do not see late 70's Camper Specials around anymore.
