Mustang 347 Stroker Drag Car with Vertical Gate Shifter and 4 Speed top loader transmission. It was built as an entry level drag car by the previous owner. This is actually a 79 Cobra with an Aero Nose Harwood 3" Cowl Induction Hood and a full GT Body Kit. The paint job is a low buck drag car special but it has held up fine. The 347 has a dual plane intake and a vacuum secondary carb, which is more street/strip than drag only. The car pulls like a freight train and goes 12.3 @108 with open headers and slicks.The vertical gate shifter is great fun on the strip. The headlights need to be wired in and the dash installation completed .Full set Autometer Gauges, the oil gauge went bad and I have a temp autozone gauge tapped in to show the engine has good oil pressure and replacement TELEX oil pressure gauges will be included. Brand New Holley "Blue" electric fuel pump. The tires are storage only. Add current belts and your tires.... go racing. I purchased an 8.5 cert Capri and I'm going 10 second index racing. A weekends work to finish the headlight wiring and the gauges and you will have a great street/strip car, or update the belts and hit the drags ! This is a NO RESERVE auction.
