For sale: once-in-a-lifetime up for bids: 1976 Ford Gran Torino Factory “Starsky & Hutch” two-door hardtop coupe. Family owned since new in 1976. Parked in heated underground garage for 30 years; never driven during this time. Currently has 60,000 miles on it. Car came out of storage in 2010 has been driven 10 times each summer, then placed back in heated storage facility. Specs: Serial # ‘6’ – 1976 model year, “G” Chicago Illinois plant, “30” Gran torino two-door hardtop body serial code, “h” – 351 CID 2-barrel V8 engine Colour – 2B bright red B18000 – B1-originally sold in central Canada, 8000 – unique Canadian delivery factory Recent appraisal views the car in generally good to very good unrestored condition. It is one on only 1300 original factory-made Starsky & Hutch cars in North America (100 in Canada) manufactured in 1976. There are minor chips and scratches present, no serious damage or repairs made. Interior is in very good condition with one small tear on driver side seat (upper portion).
