1989 Lotus Esprit S. 43,215 miles. Nearly mint condition inside and out. I own an automotive repair shop in Merriam, KS called Auto Doctor, please google me to see my reviews. We sell many cars to people sight unseen out of state and have never had a complaint from them. I have a reputation to uphold and will not risk that by lying. I represent cars for what they are and not for what I want them to be. I have installed 4 brand new tires less then 100 miles ago and did an 80 point inspection. Both engine mounts and transmission mounts were original and loose so we ordered all 4 and a timing belt and t-belt tensioner because the prior owner had no idea how old they were. I am going to install all 4 mounts and the timing belt/tensioner for no additional charge. Will probably be done before the auction ends. Almost all if not all coolant hoses have been replaced with silicon hoses. It also has a fresh Mobil 1 oil change. It is available by appointment for test drives with an escort. Some information about this Esprit. 1989 was the first year of the Esprit to receive General Motors wiring, fuel injection, headlight motors, and many other parts GM supplied because of huge dependability issues these cars suffered from prior to GM. It does not have the intercooler that the SE's had but those intercoolers and their plumbing were problem prone and makes this car more dependable. The bad: The passenger window only rolls up and down from the passenger switch but operates correctly other than that. It has 2 large chips on the front bumper. The paint and interior of this car are in amazing condition and you will not be disappointed! It also runs perfectly and the acceleration is insane. Dash is perfect as well.
