Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful, well preserved, classic 1979 Honda CB750K that I purchased in Ohio in late-November. It had been in storage since fall, 2014. At the time of purchase, it was idling too high, so I purchased four carb kits from Honda. These kits go with the bike. Since purchasing it, I have ridden it over 200 miles, without any problems, other than the high idle. I was hoping to make it my primary rider, but I am in immediate need of capital, so I have to sell it. These photos show you the condition of the bike as it was when I picked it up (with the Honda luggage cases mounted on it), and after I got back to Virginia and took it to the hand-spray car wash, followed by a quick wipe-down using microfiber cloth. So, it can actually look even better than it does, here, in these photos, with a little Mother's Chrome Polish and some elbow grease. At the time the photos were taken, the chain needed lubricating because it had been in storage, as you can see. It had only 16,523 original miles on it, at the time the pictures were taken. It has a few more miles on it, now, because I've ridden it a few times for short rides on nice winter days. The only apparent parts of this Honda that are not stock are the 4 in 1 exhaust and the chain and sprocket, which appear to be relatively new. This bike comes equipped with very special Honda factory equipment: a Honda fairing with matching paint job, a Honda luggage rack, and three Honda luggage cases in beautiful shape! And, a Clymer shop manual is included, as well. This bike is in great shape and was obviously extremely well cared for! The gas tank and side covers have no noticeable scratches. The seat is like new; it has no rips or tears. In general, there is VERY little surface rust on this bike. The tires both have great tread. Almost all of the chrome is in beautiful shape. It's really a sharp machine, and I get compliments on it wherever I go. The black paint with red trim is really a great combination! All accessories and systems work as they should, it handles great, and it has no leaks. A $500 deposit via PayPal will be required within 24 hours of auction close. The balance of the purchase price must be paid via cash or cashier’s check within 3 days of auction close. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. If all required funds are not received as indicated above, I reserve the right to keep the deposit and resell the motorcycle by re-listing or to another bidder. I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements, but the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping at his/her cost. This motorcycle may be listed locally for sale, and the Ebay listing may be deleted prior to auction end if it is sold.
