Today I have a 2 Owner 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser. These Land Cruisers are awesome! It has 158,089 miles and is in fair condition. It has the Rear Differential lock. I drove this thing all over the place in the 3ft snow storm we had 2 months ago and it was amazing. The frame is not rotted at all. Its inspected in PA until 10/16. This would make a perfect trail vehicle or daily driver. I bought to lift it and to 4 wheel it but I recently got a 97 i’m going to do that with. I also have a 99 for a daily driver.
Mechanical
The Land Cruiser runs and sounds great. The engine sounds and runs excellent and the transmission shifts perfect. The timing belt & water was just changed @ 155,525 miles. The suspension is tight and the tires are good as well as the brakes. I just changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic. It drives excellent down the road. It is inspected until 10/16 in PA.
Interior
The interior is in good condition. The driver side seat shows some wear and the armrest’s seam is split-see pics. The Passenger side front seat also shows some wear but no tears. The rear seats are in pretty nice shape but could be cleaned. It is missing the 3rd row seat. All power options work including the heated seats. The Air Conditioning is ice cold.
Exterior
The exterior of the Land Cruiser is in fair condition. For the most part its in nice shape. There are some scratches on the bumpers. Please see the pictures. Both front fenders have a little rust at the bottoms of them and the passenger side below the door has rust. Please look at the pictures. The frame is not rusted out. It does have surface rust but there aren’t any holes or rot. If you want to see more pictures of it please let me know. I would say this is your average frame for a car here in the northeast, not the best but nowhere close to being an issue.
**Warranty**
A C.A.R.S. Warranty can be purchased for $150 on any vehicle over $2,000.00. It Covers the Engine , Transmission, Driveshafts for 3 Months / 4,500 Miles.
**SHIPPING & Pick-up**
I will ship the vehicle anywhere but the buyer must arrange Transport. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days unless you have contacted me and made other arrangements. I will also not deliver the vehicle but am willing to assist in anyway possible but must contact me before auction ends.
**Payment**
Cash is preferred payment. Certified checks & Money orders are also accepted. Wire transfers are accepted for any type of purchase with a $25 fee added. I will not accept personal checks.
**Please contact me with any questions. Anyone is welcome to come and look at the car. Keep in mind That I am not a shop trained mechanic or ASE certified mechanic. I am more than happy to look at something specific on the car for you and do any tests you would require.
**There is a $130 Administrative fee added to every auction. A $300 deposit is required within the first 72 hrs of the end of auction. All taxes, registration, title work, and notary work is not included. I use a local notary which can provide transport tags and anything else needed for the vehicle. **
